i appear to be getting increasingly famous amongst academic types. stephen downes included a pic of the doodle draw in a recent presentation – more later when he puts the slides online. and a couple of months back, aleks krotoski needed to use a profile page to illustrate the use of ratings to indicate reputation in sl.
i was surprised and honoured to learn that she used my profile!

not terribly new, but i like it.
for lovers of the badly drawn in video games, this one looks super. littlebigplanet gives you control of a raggedy beanie-toy exploring a garden. the neat badly drawn bit is the ‘cardboard’ sets that decorate the garden.

i’ve become fairly well known for my doodly works. time to pay homage to some of those who got there before me in sl. this is chicanery turnbull’s ‘badly drawn boy’ avatar. chicanery passed this to me way back in january 2006 – and we’ve exchanged items and a few im’s over time – though i don’t think we’ve ever met yet.
